
KATHMANDU: Nepalse Ambassador to the United Kingdom Dr. Suresh Chandra Chalise met with Chairperson of the Interim Election Government Khil Raj Regmi and discussed different issues.
A press release issued by Nepali Embassy in United Kingdom informed that the Ambassador stressed the need of organizing various programs to mark the 200th year of establishment of diplomatic ties between both the countries.
Dr. Chalise informed about the challenges for maintaining cordial relations between both the countries. During the meeting IEC Chair Regmi stressed the need of contribution from all sides to maintain good relations between both the countries. He also pledged full support to Ambassador Dr. Chalise in this regard.
Before meeting with IEC Chair, Ambassador Dr. Chalise also informed the various problems related with Counselor faced by Nepali in different European cities to the Ministry of Foreign Affairs.
Similarly, Ambassador Dr. Chalise held meeting with British Ambassador to Nepal Andrew James Spark and discussed the issues of organizing various programs to mark the establishment of diplomatic relations between both the countries. Both the Ambassadors will jointly address a program entitled ‘CHEERS’ to be organized by Children related organization on August 14.
