
KATHMANDU: Minister for Law and Justice Narahari Acharya reiterated that Nepal is committed to implementing International Humanitarian Laws.
Addressing the discussion on ´Contemporary Challenges to International Humanitarian Law´, Acharya said the government has established IHL Committee to coordinate issues related to it.
Acharya also launched the International Review of the Red Cross on the program organized to mark the 150th anniversary of 1864 Geneva Convention.
During the program, ICRC Nepal´s Head of Delegation Dragana Kojic and ICRC´s Regional Legal Advisor Charles Sabga dwelled on contemporary challenges to IHL.
