KATHMANDU: Patron and Founding President of Non Residential Nepalese Association (NRN)-ICC, Dr Upendra Mahato has claimed that he will provide security to NRN investment in Nepal.
Speaking at the second assembly of NRN-UK in London on Sunday, Dr Mahato urged all NRNs to invest confidently in Nepal while assuring that their investment wont be threatened in Nepal.
Mahato stressed on the need to make the nation rich and said that it will be possible after the NRNs invest in Nepal’s prosperity.
Speaking on the occassion, NRN-ICC President Jiba Lamichhane also made special request to NRNs to invest in Nepal. He also pointed out Hydropower as the most promising investment sector in Nepal.
While conceding that there might be some risks in other businesses in Nepal, Laimichhane said that hydro power sector is the most secure area of investment in Nepal.
Speaking at the program presided by NRN-UK President Kul Acharya, Nepal’s ambassador to UK, Suresh Chandra Chailshe appreciated the achievements of NRN. He called on NRNs to come up with a concept of tripartite investments in Nepal. He stressed o the need to invest in Nepal in joint venture between Nepalese Businessman, NRNs and foriegn investors.
