NEW DELHI:- Himalayan Orange Tourism Festival-2020 is rescheduled to take place in Kolkata in India on December 10-12.
Organised by the Association for Conservation and Tourism (ACT) every two years since 2014, the Festival that was scheduled last year was affected by COVID-19, said the ACT President Raj Basu.
An inter-nation meeting in West Bengal on Wednesday took a decision to this effect. The meeting was attended by representatives from Nepal and India. To be participated by Nepal, India, Bangladesh and Bhutan, main attraction of the Festival will be organic oranges produced in the participating countries, it has been said.
Likewise, organic medicinal herbs, fruits and handicrafts will be put on display, he said. Nepal is co-organiser of the Festival.
