Govt has stepped ahead towards its goal every day: Prime Minister Oli

????????????????????????????????????

KATHMANDU: Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli said on Friday that the government was moving a step ahead every day with a new work to achieve the goal of economic prosperity.
Inaugurating the Prime Minister Employment Programme (PMEP) in Bhaktapur district, Prime Minister Oli said that some reactionary elements were active to instigate the people against the good works initiated by the government.
“We are now involved in a big campaign of nation building. But the reactionary forces are still having futile dream to push the country towards regression. They are trying to provoke the people. But the people will not be influenced by their activities as they have understood the government’s movement was for development and prosperity,” he said.
He further said a few groups were spreading terror by involving in robbery and extortion, which were irrelevant.
The reactionary forces which are trying to push the country towards darkness will not succeed, he added.
“I feel sad to see those who have involved in wrongdoings instead of involving in the campaign of nation building,” he said. “There are some stupid persons in the country who are demanding the reinstatement of monarchy,” he said. pm 1 by shekhar_1676
He asked one and all to love Nepal and work honestly for driving the country forward in the path of development as it had lagged behind other countries.
“We have to raise the country above from its identity of a poor nation, a manpower providing country, nation of illiterates and country where people die in lack of simple medicines,” he said.
The Prime Minister Employment Programme was implemented in all four municipalities, including Madhyapur Thimi Municipality, Changunarayan Municipality, Suryabinakya Municipality and Bhaktapur Municipality by initiating construction of the Katunje-Subarna Chowk-Tindhara road section.
The PMEP campaign will provide jobs for unemployed youths and mobilise the youth in the development activities. “Through this programme, we will identify the sectors of employment across the country,” he said.
“A large number of youths are working abroad. The present government is looking for the solution to address this tendency. The PMEP is an example to retain them by ensuring them jobs in the country,” he said.
Today, we launched the mobile apps introduced by the Changnarayan Municipality to provide information about it to the public, which reflects that the country is moving towards the goal of Digital Nepal, the PM said.
“We are heading towards Digital Nepal, prosperous Nepal, good governance and
development. We must develop our country by ourselves,” Prime Minister Oli said.
It is very sad to know that Nepal and Nepalis are poor despite the country having fertile land, natural resources and intellectuals, he said, adding that the government had already announced that no one would be hunger and die due to hunger.
“This is not a simple thing. Because many people of the developed countries are beggars. I say Nepal will not ask for alms. The government will care for all and I want to say that nobody will be worried about the care of government,” he said.
Minister for Labour, Employment and Social Security Gokarna Bista said that the government would implement the programme effectively from the next fiscal year even it was able to provide jobs in a short period.
He said that they would provide jobs for at least 500,000 unemployed youth including, skilled, unskilled, educated and uneducated in the next fiscal year under the programme.
“This is a common programme of all Nepalis. So, I want to request all, including political parties to support for its operation and achieving its target,” he said.
Lawmaker and former Minister Mahesh Basnet expressed commitment to implement this programme effectively as it will not only to provide jobs to the unemployed people but also instil people with respect to their jobs.
He stressed on the need of establishing employment bank by developing the online system which will work as a bridge between the demand and supply of employment.
Mayor of Madhyapur Thimi Municipality Madan Sundar Shrestha said all municipalities of Bhaktapur district were working to achieve the goal of the government campaign, ‘Prosperous Nepal, Happy Nepali.’
