Government utilizes youths’ skills and knowledge: Nepal’s Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli
KATHMANDU:– Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said the compulsion of Nepali youths to leave the country for employment would be ended.
Addressing a virtual meeting organized by the National Youth Council on the occasion of International Youth Day here Wednesday, the Prime Minister reiterated that departure of youths, which is a major strength to build the country, for a foreign country in search of a job is not good. “Efforts are underway along with strategies to stop such a compulsory situation.
Adequate employment opportunities will be created for the youths within the country. The country will be developed by utilizing knowledge, skills, and competence of youths,” he underscored. According to the PM, youths are the partners of development in the country. He wished the youths stopped leaving the country in this age of innovation and knowledge.
The use of labor, skills, and knowledge make the country self-reliant and prosperous. Young generations will be involved in the research for development. “Government will help youths to realize their beautiful dreams,” he said, adding that government is devoted to realizing the sustainable development goals by defeating the COVID-19.
It is the youths that work with the resolution for fulfilling the national ambition of ‘prosperous Nepal: happy Nepali.’ PM Oli urged the youths to help control and prevent the spread of coronavirus and requested everyone to maintain adequate health standards. On the occasion, Minister for Youths and Sports Jagat Bahadur Bishwokarma said youths would be made productive by utilizing their knowledge and skills.
