KATHMANDU:
While the opposition parties are claiming they would hit the street to topple the incumbent government, the government is all set to bring the budget through ordinance by Monday.
The meeting of the ruling parties held at Prime Minister’s official residence Baluwatar on Saturday evening took the decision to this effect.
To forge the consensus on budget issue, the ruling parties are scheduled to hold a final meeting with the opposition parties.
“The meeting of the ruling parties decided to hold a last meeting with the opposition parties to seek their support on budget issue. The budget ordinance will be forwarded to the President irrespective of their support,” Prime Minister’s political advisor Devenda Paudel told.
