Despite of opposition parties’ objection, the government has decided to submit the budget ordinance of Rs 300.64 billion to President Dr. Ram Baran Yadav for the approval.
The cabinet meeting held on Tuesday afternoon decided to submit the remaining two-thirds budget to the President for the endorsement.
The government has also decided to hold the Constituent Assembly Election by mid- May 2013 and even allocated the budget of 10 billion rupees for the election purpose.
“Since one third budget has already been unveiled, the cabinet meeting has decided to present the two-third budget ordinance to the President for his approval,” Government’s Spokesperson and Minister for Information and Communications Raj Kishor Yadav said.
Minister Yadav said the government also decided to extend the tenure of the Army Integration Special Committee for a month.
