KATHMANDU: Gold prices have decreased by Rs. 900 per Tola on Tuesday.
The price of gold had gone up to Rs. 73,500 on Monday with a hike of Rs. 1,000 per Tola. This has decreased to Rs. 72,600 per Tola on Tuesday, confirms Nepal Gold Exchange Traders Federation. The federation says the price of gold for this Monday was one of the highest in the history. Over the period of 2 months, the price of gold has increased by Rs. 10,000, approximately. During the last two months, due to the raising price of gold the number of sellers has increased but there is hardly any buyer, say the gold traders.
The price of silver has remained constant with Rs. 760 per Tola.
