General Convention of People’s Coordination Committee Italy concludes


Daulat Sanwa / ROME: The first general convention of Janasamparka Samiti (People’s Coordination Committee) concludes amidst a function in Italy.

The program, which was held in a gala manner, has also incorporated Picnic during the process of the convention. The general convention was held in the first session followed by entertaining second session.

The organizers informed that at a time when people have been having negative perception about leaders, the program was organized not to replicate such situation in abroad as well.

Advisor of the Committee Shree Krishna Subedi and Ramjibi Panta addressed the program, which was chaired by Ramesh Raj Lamichane. Stating that leadership of Nepali Congress is essential to resolve all the problems dogging the country as the party has been able to give good leadership to the country during different movements Panta appealed to take Nepali Congress in the leadership position during the elections of the constituent assembly.

Stating that BP Koirala has inducted representatives of dalits and indigenous communities to his cabinet, he appealed people to test whether the political parties are really committed for the cause of inclusion of just offering the lip services.

Another advisor Ramjibi Panta informed that though the Committee is a political entity it has been supporting all the initiatives undertaken in Italy directly or indirectly and pledged that such cooperation would continue in the days to come.

Treasurer of the committee Bodhraj Pangeni presented the financial report of EURO 3,498 during the program. He informed that the financial part of the organization is transparent and they would collect more money in the fund and channelize it for supporting needy Nepali community.

Similarly, presenting the Political document General Secretary of the organization Daulat Samba informed that the organization is not related with any person rather it is a common platform of all and added that all persons, who believe in democratic ideology, have the right to provide suggestions and feedback to the organization.

Chairperson of the program Ramesh Raj Lamichane thanked all for taking part in the program and assisting the organizers to make the program successful.
