KATHMANDU: Murderers of the Chairperson of Federation of Contractors’ Association Nepal (FCAN), Sharad Kumar Gauchan, have not been ascertained till now. Gauchan was shot dead in the broad day light in the capital city Monday.
According to Chief of the Metropolitan Police Office Ranipokhari, Additional Inspector General of Nepal Police, Jay Bahadur Chand, though search for shooters was intensified, the result is awaited.
Meanwhile, FCAN has decided not to receive the dead body of Gauchan unless the culprits were arrested.
FCAN General Secretary Ram Sharan Deuja, called on Kathmandu Chief District Officer Kedar Nath Sharma on Tuesday and urged him to ensure security to the entrepreneurs and intensify the search of the murderers.
