Gachhadar calls for ensuring federalism before election; Yadav claims four parties hatching conspiracy


RAUTAHAT: Chairperson of Madhesi Janadhikar Forum Democratic (MJF-D) Bijaya Kumar Gachhadar, who is also an alley of the four major political parties informed that they would go on the elections if it could ensure federalism with identity and constitution with federalism.

Addressing a party welcome program organized at Gaur on Friday, former home minister and Deputy Prime Minister Gachhadar expressed sadness that though a non partisan government had been formed to end the existing political and constitutional crisis, the date of the polls should be announced at the earliest.

He further claimed that the MJF-D will be the biggest party after the CA elections. He also claimed that other three political parties of the four party alliance have been hatching conspiracy to put the madhesi people far from their rights.

During the programme, General Secretary of Terai Madhes Loktantrik Party Govinda Chaudhari, Co-General Secretary Arbinda Saha, former law maker Chandan Saha joined the UDMF citing disagreement with the party leaders and its modus operandi. Similarly, Women Department of Terai Madhes Loktantrik Party, Central Chairperson Asha Shekhar, District Vice-Chariman Amrit Lal Chaudhari, Raghu Bir Singh of UCPN-Maoist, Mukesh Saha, member of NC Parsa Paras Patel and Nemdhari Saha of Sadhbhawana Party among others joined the MJF-D.

Meanwhile addressing an interaction in Bhaktapur chairperson of the Madhesi Janadhikar Forum Nepal Upendra Yadav, has blamed that syndicate of the four political parties has hatched conspiracies to end the democracy.

Stating that the syndicate has imprisoned the country, he said bureaucracy has run the country from government to villages.

Stating that there was no meaning of holding election to the Constituent Assembly (CA) without preparation of minimum basis of election, he said his party would not participate in the election in the status quo.

He also underscored the need of holding the election of local bodies simultaneously with the CA election.
