From today onwards, the Supreme Court will decide on the issue of Pace, cut off the rights of Pranya

KATHMANDU:- Judges will be heard in the Supreme Court from today. The process has been made so that all the judges will meet at 10 in the morning and form a bench by pulling the strings and then the hearing will start by selecting the group of cases. Earlier, it was the practice to determine the case on the basis of the discretionary power of the Chief Justice. With the new Pace management process starting from Wednesday, the Chief Justice’s discretionary power to select judges in the bench and decide cases in the bench has been curtailed.

There has been a long-standing demand for the introduction of an automatic pay list system by amending the existing legal system for allocating pay in the courts and for the management of pay by round robin in the courts until the automatic pay list system is implemented. A full meeting of the Supreme Court on August 7, 2008 had also decided to manage the case through round robin process.
