Four members of NLC take oath of office and secrecy


KATHMANDU:- Four members of National Land Commission took oath of office and secrecy today.
Commission Chair Keshav Niraula administered the oath of office and secrecy to the new four members—Radhe Raya Yadav (Rautahat), Basudev Humagaian (Kavre), Tek Bahadur Shah (Doti) and Dataram Khanal (Ilam). Minister for Land Management, Cooperatives and Poverty Alleviation, Shashi Shrestha was present on the occasion.
On the occasion, Minister Shrestha directed the Commission’s office-bearers to carry out activities as per the objectives of the formation of the Commission and the Constitution’s sentiments.
She asked them to work in favour of the people as per the Ministry’s action plan to resolve problems of landless, Dalits and landless squatters.
Similarly, Secretary at the Ministry, Ganesh Prasad Pandey, mentioned that the Ministry is committed for necessary cooperation in order to complete the work before the deadline.
Likewise, Commission Chairperson Niraula expressed commitment to fulfill the directives of the government and Ministry.
