Former royal couple to fly Singapore this week


KATHMANDU:
Ex King Gyanendra Shah along with his wife Ex-queen Komal is scheduled to go Singapore for the health check-up. It is learnt that Shah will head off to Singapore on Friday. According to the source, ex-queen Shah’s will have her health check- up on 25th December in Singapore.

Their daughter-in-law Himani, Personal Secretay Sagar Timilsina and body guard Uddhwab Rawal will accompany the Shah duo.

Komal had sustained bullet injuries as a result of the palace shooting on June 2001. Five bullets inside her body are yet to be extracted. The source says that bullets will be extracted this time if surgery will be possible. Komal is suffering  from heart problem also. The former royal couple will return back after the health treatment of Komal so their stay in Singapore will be quite long,  source informed.
