N24 Correspondent, KATHMANDU:- Formal talks have begun between the Government of Nepal and The members of the Netra Bikram Chand Biplav led Maoist group. The first round of talks was positive, said Rajan Bhattarai, Foreign Affairs Advisor to the Prime Minister.
No date has been set for the next round of talks. But sources claim that both sides have agreed to hold talks soon.
On Tuesday, the government had formed a dialogue team with Home Minister Ram Bahadur Thapa and Advisor to the Prime Minister on Foreign Affairs Rajan Bhattarai and the Netra Bikram Chand Biplav led Maoist group had formed a dialogue team, led by Khadga Bahadur Vishwakarma Prakand and Uday Bahadur.
