At a press meet organized here today, Principal of Kathmandu University High School, Tejendra Raj Bhandari said that more than 3,000 players from 52 countries will participate in the Norway Cup-2012.
Girls of 15 to 16 years of age are going to participate in the competition. They will leave for Norway on July 27.
Chief Football Coach of the School, Pradeep Humagain said that the students have played 12 home events for the preparation of the Cup.
Captain of Girls’ Football Team of the School, Shrawana Shrestha said that the team is confident of winning the competition.
Shrestha said that they would learn some new things from the game of the international players even if they would not be able to win the competition.
Jyotsana Shrestha, Dilasa Manandhar, Pratistha Sakh, Rajashree Pandey, Shlesha Shrestha, Akriti Chhetri, Ritika Thapa, Apeksha Bajracharya, Sofina Dahal, Akrita Shakya, Kavya Shrestha, Swornima Lamichhane, Maya Roka, Saru KC and Nigma Dolma Tamang are in the team. RSS
