Floods create havoc in Bardiya district, 200 houses inundated


GULARIYA:  Some 200 houses have been inundated in Bardiya district due to floods after incessant rains for the past two days.  Villages of Bhimmapura VDC of Bhauratappu surrounded by Karnali and Geruwa rivers, Guptipur village of Daulatur VDC, Rajapur village of Rajapur VDC, and Gulariya village of Gulariya municipality and Lalpur Dudhawa village in Mohammadpur VDC have been inundated.

Life has been troublesome because of the inundation.

No human losses has, however, been made due to floods because of high alert of the Disaster Relief Committee, said CDO Yagyaraj Bohara. RSS
