
KATHMANDU:- Five persons died and 11 others were injured in the adverse weather events in the last 24 hours.
The National Disaster Risk Reduction and Management Authority has shared information that three persons died in storm in Chitwan, while Khotang and Sunasari recorded one each lightning related death.
Similarly, two persons were injured in the storm in Chiwan, and eight in Kailali. A person was injured in lightning in Pyuthan.
The Authority said adverse weather events occurred in 12 districts where five received worst. The detail on the loss of physical properties is awaited.
