
KATHMANDU:- The film ‘Ficho’ (Youngest Daughter) will be screened simultaneously in Nepal and USA. Director Vikas Ghale Gurung said that the film will be screened in Nepal and USA before the screening in the cinema hall. “There is a demand for the film from home and abroad,” said director Bikash.
The film will be produced in three languages in Nepali, English and Gurung. The film is based on the rites, costumes and manners of the Gurung community.
The film stars Bishwas Gurung, Indra Ghale (Kashi), Tikaram Ghale, Sita Devi Gurung, DB Gurung, Kalyan Thapa, Krishna Gurung, Subedar Mantri Jung Gurung, Anjana Gurung, Pemba Chirid Sherpa among others. Produced under the banner of Red Ocean Entertainment, the film is written by Vikas Ghale. The film has Prakash Gurung (Kash) as cinematographer, Santosh Shrestha and Ganesh Gurung as music.
The film was also edited by director Ghal. The film has a dance by Gore Gurung. Produced by Shanti Maya Gurung (USA), Mantri Jung Gurung, Buddhi Maya Gurung (Iraq) and Abhinash YMG (Mangsum), the film seeks to show how the deteriorating social conditions affect hardworking youth. The production team is preparing to screen the film in the hall soon.
