N24 Staff Writer, KATHMANDU:- Prime Minister KP Sharma Oli has said that the House of Representatives had to be dissolved after the practice of running parallel government within the party.
Prime Minister Oli claimed that he had chosen the option of a new mandate after some leaders within the party started the practice of running a parallel government.
Addressing Singha Durbar on the third anniversary of the formation of his government, Prime Minister Oli said that he had been facing the same fate as the coalition government for a year.
He said that the bills brought by the government were stuck in the name of discussion, appointments to constitutional bodies were not allowed to be recommended and if so, they were stuck in the hearing committee.
He claimed that if the parliament was not dissolved, there would be no unified party, no one would have a majority and there would be instability.
