
KATHMANDU: The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority (CIAA) on Wednesday filed a fake credential case at the Special Court against a teacher of the Shree Nawa Jyoti Lower Secondary School in Bojhiya, Kailali.
Issuing a statement today, the anti-graft constitutional body said that teacher Bir Bahadur Bhatta had submitted a fake academic certificate of High School Level for the purpose of recruitment.
According to the Commission, the certificate was acquired from Intermediate Education Board, Utterpradesh, India in 1986 AD.
The CIAA demanded actions against him as per Section 16(1) of the Anti-Corrupation Act 2002.
