
KATHMANDU: The Commission for Investigation of Abuse of Authority on Friday filed a fake credential case at the Special Court against an Assistant Sub-Inspector (ASI) of Zonal Police Office, Mahakali.
Issuing a statement today, the anti-graft constitutional body said that ASI Papsisara Dharti had produced a fake academic certificate of high school acquired from Intermediate Education Board Uttar Pradesh, India while taking up the job in Nepal Police.
The Commission has demanded actions as per Section 16 (1) of the Anti-Corruption Act 2002.
