EX-CA chief calls for political consensus


KATHMANDU: Former Chairman of the Constituent Assembly Subas Nembang said that complexities were seen in politics after the dissolution of the CA.

Speaking at a programme organized on the silver jubilee occasion of Sociological Anthropological Society of Nepal today, Nembang said the political parties should join hands together to maintain harmony among all ethnic communities, languages, cultures of all regions across the country.

Speaking on the occasion, Vice-Chancellor of the Mid-Western University Padmalal Devkota, member secretary of Tribhuvan University Grant Commission Bhola Pokhrel, sociologist Dilliram Dahal, Kailashnath Pyakurel and others urged the leaders for social transformation.

Chairman of Society Prof Dr Ganeshman Gurung pledged that the Society would remain committed to maintain social harmony by carrying out different researches on development of human society across the globe. RSS
