European Regional Meeting of NRNA kicks off


SWITZERLAND: The European Regional Meeting of the Non Residential Nepalese Association has kicked off in Switzerland with the theme ‘Nepali Unity in Europe for Progress and Identity and New Campaign for Collective Investment’ on Saturday.

Addressing the three day meeting Nepali Ambassador Shankar Bairagi informed that economic diplomacy and campaign of NRN could be beneficial for the country. Similarly, another guest of the program former Federal Chancellor of Switzerland Anamari Hower Hochhe shared his experience about his visit to Nepal in February and expressed his readiness in the field of Women Empowerment and Women’s Rights.

Chairperson NRN International Coordination Committee Jiba Lamichhane informed that rather than working only for Identity, we should be active in NRNA to contribute to the organization ultimately benefitting the country.

Founder chairperson of NRNA Upendra Mahato urged all to concentrate for developing the country as there will be no identity of the person as there will be no meaning for a person becoming a rich if the country is poor.

Chairpersons of International Coordination Committees and National Coordination Committees of European Countries have been taking part in the meeting. The program started by playing national anthem of both Nepal and Switzerland.

Chairperson of NRN Switzerland and member of ICC Pritam Gurung thanked all the delegates on behalf of the organizers. The meeting has been holding discussion on different thematic issues.
