Emergency service too disrupted at Kantipur Hospital


KATHMANDU All services including emergency service at Kantipur Hospital have been disrupted from early this morning owing to employees’ protest programmes.

Nepal National Employee’s Association, Kantipur Hospital main committee called closure of all services including the emergency service.

Chairman of the committee Bikash Adhikari said they have called for the protest programmes by demanding permanency of the temporary employees, withdraw the decision to expel the employees and timely salary payment among others.

Recently, some employees were expelled from the hospital for breaching the hospital rules.

General services in the 100-bed hospital have been disrupted for last few days due to employees’ protests.

Meanwhile, the hospital has called the employees for dialogue today to resolve the ongoing conflict. RSS
