KATHMANDU: Prime Minister and Nepal Communist Party Chairperson KP Sharma Oli has said that important tasks were being accomplished to realize the dreams of leading personalities.
In a message today on the 23rd memorial day of Tulasi Lal Amatya, the Prime Minister has appealed to all to institutionalize the contributions of late Amatya by helping bring equality along with prosperity in the life of the people.
Pointing out the need of working ahead with unity to bring prosperity to the nation and happiness to the people, he said prosperity could be achieved by using capital and technology to increase production and export and bringing down imports.
First-generation communist leader of Nepal, the late Amatya was the founding chair of the All Nepal Peasants Association established in 2008 B.S. He was elected in the first-ever parliamentary elections held in 2015 B.S. and led the parliamentary party of Nepal Communist Party.
He was elected the General Secretary of NCP in its third general convention held in 2019 B.S.
