CPN (UML) Chairperson Jhalanath Khanal has urged the President Ram Baran Yadav not to endorse the budget to be brought by the government.
Meeting the President Yadav at latter’s official residence Shital Niwas on Monday, Leader Khanal informed the President Yadav the budget comes without political consensus would be unacceptable to his party.
During the meeting, the duo discussed focusing on contemporary political issues of the country and budget to be presented by the government.
Talking briefly to media persons after the meeting, Khanal pointed out the need that the UCPN-Maoist and the government should be flexible for consensus as the government is obstacle on the issue of moving ahead by forging consensus among political parties.
