Deuba and Modi to meet in Glasgow, Scotland


KATHMANDU:- Prime Minister Sher Bahadur Deuba and his Indian counterpart Narendra Modi are scheduled to meet next week. Both the leaders are participating in COP-26 held in Glasgow, Scotland. Deuba and Modi are going to meet in the sideline talks to be organized on the occasion. The 26th Conference of the United Nations Framework Convention on Climate Change (UNFCCC) is taking place next week. Prime Minister Deuba is representing Nepal at the conference.
India has accepted Nepal’s request for sideline talks. Prime Minister Deuba is leaving for London on October 27. This is Deuba’s first foreign trip since becoming the fifth prime minister. Before that in Nepal
India was the first country to extend an invitation to the Prime Minister. Deuba will also meet British Prime Minister Boris Johnson in Glasgow.
