
BHAKTAPUR: A patient of dengue virus was found in Bhaktapur district, said the District Public Health Office (DPHO).
The patient is 15-year-old Arjun Karki from Ramechhap district and he is currently living in Balkot VDC-5 of Bhaktapur it is learnt.
The disease was confirmed while undergoing Karki’s health check up, said Senior Officer at the DPHO Ramesh Thakur.
Similarly, the Bhaktapur Municipality and different VDCs have launched different awareness campaigns about possible threat of the disease.
Meanwhile, Bhaktapur Hospital has managed free health check up services for suspected people.
