Claiming that the validity of the 12-point agreement and Comprehensive Peace Accord have already expired, CPN-Maoist, the party formed after splitting from UCPN (Maoist), Chairperson Mohan Baidhya has said that his party would not abide by these agreements.
Speaking at a party’s program in Dhulikhel on Friday, Leader Baidhya said that his party was not obliged to adhere with the agreements signed by the UCPN (Maoist) and its chairperson Prachanda.
“The party had to be reconstituted as the party deviated from Prachandapath, the ideological path propounded by Pushpa Kamal Dahal “Prachanda”, so we would not follow these agreements which are against our party’s ideology,” he said.
