CPN-UML’s Madhav Nepal faction National Convention begins today

CPN-UML's Nepal faction is about to convene after the Prime Minister and party chairman KP Oli took away the responsibility of all the leaders except his own group.

N24 Staff Writer, KATHMANDU:- The National Convention of the CPN-UML’s Madhav Nepal faction is starting in Kathmandu from today.

Leaders from different districts have already arrived in Kathmandu on Tuesday for the National Convention which will continue till Thursday. A faction of close leaders and activists will arrive on Wednesday, the group said.

CPN-UML’s Nepal faction is about to convene after the Prime Minister and party chairman KP Oli took away the responsibility of all the leaders except his own group.

Chairman Oli had called for talks after the faction started organizing a National Convention, but the Convention could not be held from today as they could not reach an agreement.

For the Convention, CPN-UML’s Nepal faction had appointed Bhim Acharya in charge of Province 1, Ghanshyam Bhusal in charge of Province 2, Ashtalakshmi Shakya in charge of Bagmati, Surendra Pandey in charge of Gandaki, Yuvraj Gyawali in charge of Lumbini and Karnali and Bhim Rawal in charge of Far West.
