CPN-UML adds new members in the central committee

KATHMANDU: The CPN-UML, which has been facing crisis as many leaders deserted the party alleging that the party is losing its ideological ground, has finally appointed three leaders for the central committee of the party.

Thursday’s Standing Committee meeting of the party designated Subas Nembang, Keshav Lal Shrestha and Sanu Shrestha as the full central members of the party.

CPN-UML publicity department Pradip Gyawali informed that the meeting of the standing committee held at the party office took a decision to that end.

The standing committee also designated Rajendra Rai, Sherdhan Rai, Sher Bahadur Tamang, Ganesh Kambang, Chandra Bahadur Shahi, Ek Bahadur Rana, Ram Dayal Mandal and Gyan Bahadur Bhujel as alternative central members.

The standing committee meeting was followed by the central committee meeting of the party. CPN-UML has been facing criticism for not remaining firm at the decision of the party.
