CPN-UML publicity department Pradip Gyawali informed that the meeting of the standing committee held at the party office took a decision to that end.

The standing committee also designated Rajendra Rai, Sherdhan Rai, Sher Bahadur Tamang, Ganesh Kambang, Chandra Bahadur Shahi, Ek Bahadur Rana, Ram Dayal Mandal and Gyan Bahadur Bhujel as alternative central members.

The standing committee meeting was followed by the central committee meeting of the party. CPN-UML has been facing criticism for not remaining firm at the decision of the party.
