DHULIKHEL : At a time when the leaders of major political parties have been finding it hard to forge consensus for the on the electoral laws for holding the fresh elections of the constituent assembly, General Secretary of CPN-Maoist Ram Bahadur Thapa has said that new government of the nationalist forces should be formed by toppling the incumbent government.
Addressing the First National Youth Gathering and Training Program of Nepal Tamang Rastriya Mukti Morcha in Dhulikhel today, Thapa claimed that agitations of the nationalist forces would take a momentum in the offing.
Thapa also said that country´s sovereignty was in peril since signing of the Sugauli Treaty adding that the youth should take initiatives to safeguard country´s sovereignty.
Over 250 youth of Tamang are participating in the program. CPN-Maoist along with 32 other political parties has been protesting against the incumbent government and the plan for holding the new election by Chief Justice led government. The party, which is warning to foil the electoral process, did not register at the elections commission for the purpose of taking part in the election. The alliance has been demanding formation of all-party government by holding the round-table conference among all the political forces.
