COVID-19: Single largest infections in a day of 226, tally reaches 1, 798 in Nepal

KATHMANDU:- A total of 226 people have been confirmed positive to Corona Virus today. The tests were confirmed in various laboratories across the country, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.

Among the new cases, 213 are men and 13 women, said MoHP spokesperson Dr Bikash Devkota at the regular press meet today. The number has been steadily rising with the increased number of tests. Sunday saw 166 new cases while 189 and 170 had been confirmed positive to Corona Virus on Saturday and Friday respectively.

This takes the tally of COVID-19 cases in the country to 1,798, including 1,667 men and 131 women.
