COVID-19: one dead with 634 new cases


KATHMANDU:- A total of 634 new cases of COVID-19 have been confirmed in past 24 hours. This was revealed in 4,949 samples tested through RT-PCR and antigen method, according to the Ministry of Health and Population.
During the same period, 417 COVID-19 patients have recovered, taking total number of people who have recovered from the infection to 979,774.
Also today, one person succumbed to COVID-19, taking the death toll to 11,994.
Currently, the number of active cases of COVID-19 is 4,221, with 4,044 in home isolation, 177 in institutional isolation, 52 in ICU and three with the support of ventilator.
Meanwhile, 16,653 people took COVID-19 vaccination today.
