COVID-19 on the rise: 260 new cases confirmed


KATHMANDU:- A total of 260 new cases of COVID-19 has been confirmed in the country today. The new cases were detected in the 3,844 samples tested in various laboratories across the country.
During the period, 48 people recovered from the infection.
The number of active cases has reached 1,171, with more than 500 infected people found in Kathmandu district. Of them, 1,148 are undergoing treatment in home isolation, 23 in institutional isolation, one in ventilator and 14 in intensive care unit (ICU).
Meanwhile, 72,320 people were vaccinated against the corona virus today.
