COVID-19: 102 infected, two dead in a day in Chitwan, Nepal

CHITWAN:- A total of 102 new cases of Corona Virus was confirmed in the district on Saturday, with two deaths.

The two people who died were however from outside Chitwan. Of the 65 confirmed positive in the test carried out in Chitwan medical college, 61 are from the district, according to information officer at Bharatpur hospital Liladhar Poudel. Likewise, 12 were confirmed positive in the test carried out in Dhulikhel and 29 in Bharatpur hospital.

On Saturday, two people undergoing treatment at Chitwan medical college died of Corona Virus. So far, 11 people have died of the virus in the district, including four from Chitwan. A prohibitory order has been enforced in the district after the infection started to rise exponentially.
