KATHMANDU: A total of 302 new cases of COVID-19 were recorded while conducting PCR test on 3,554 individuals in the country in the past 24 hours. According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 3,641 are active cases of infection in the country on Friday.
Ministry further shared that the number of total infected has reached 268,948 in the country till today. Similarly, 480 infected persons have recovered in the past 24 hours. It is shared that seven more infected patients died. With this, total deaths caused by the virus infection have reached 1,986 till January 22.
