Country records 255 new coronavirus cases


KATHMANDU:- The country has recorded 255 new coronavirus cases in last 24 hours. The number of coronavirus infection was detected in course of conducting 6,469 tests.
According to the Ministry of Health and Population, 916,864 people have been infected from the virus as of today. Similarly, 256 more people have recovered from the virus in the last 24 hours. With this, the number of people who recovered from coronavirus has reached 802,909. The recovery rate is 97.7 per cent.
According to the Ministry, two more persons succumbed to the virus in last 24 hours, taking the death toll to 11,526. The morality rate is 1.4 per cent.
There are 6,931 active cases of coronavirus across the nation. A total of 6,589 people are on home isolation, 342 on institutional isolation, 116 in ICU and 33 are on ventilator support.
