Constitution delayed by reactionaries: Mahara


KATHMANDU: A grand mass meeting of the UCPN-Maoist has begun at Tundikhel in the capital today. Participants of the mass meeting joined the programme after taking out rallies from different 12 places in the valley.

 Addressing the mass meeting, Standing Committee member of the UCPN-Maoist Krishna Bahadur Mahara said that the country could not get the new constitution as reactionaries did not accept federalism with identity.

Mahara warned that the constitution will be written on the backing of the people if efforts are made not to allow the elections declared for November 22.

Vice-Chairman Mohan Baidya faction is not present in the mass meeting though Chairman of the party, Pushpa Kamal Dahal, Vice-Chairman and Prime Minister Dr. Baburam Bhattarai are present in the programme. RSS
