KATHMANDU:- The Nepali Congress has decided to give Rs 25,000 to the families of those who lost their lives due to floods and inundation. The party’s Central Coordinating Committee for Flood and Disaster Management has issued a statement in this regard. According to coordinator Mohan Bahadur Basnet, 25,000 relief will be provided to the families of those killed in the floods and landslides. The Congress has been providing financial assistance to the families of those who died in the disaster before.
Coordinator Basnet has also called on all to join in the rescue and relief of the flood victims. Tuesday’s floods and landslides in Nepal have caused great human and material damage across the country. Earlier, the government had also decided to give Rs 200,000 to the family of the deceased. The transfer of government assistance will start from today.
