Conflict victims demand just and effective commissions


KATHMANDU, March 31: At a time the main political parties have agreed to form commission on truth and reconciliation, and the commission on forced disappearance, the conflict victims have urged the political parties to form the commissions that would address their problems.

The conflict victims demonstrated near Singha Durbar carrying placards today. They demanded that the commissions implement the court decisions and cater justice to the real conflict victims.

 

People made victims from both government and Maoist sides during insurgency participated in the demonstration. RSS
