CIB submits report on Lalita Niwas land scam


KATHMANDU: The Central Investigation Bureau (CIB) of Nepal Police submitted its probe report on Lalita Niwas land scam to the Ministry of Home Affairs. The CIB submitted its report to the Ministry after holding a thorough investigation on the embezzlement of the public land located at Lalita Niwas of Baluwatar in the capital city.
CIB’s Spokesperson Superintendent of Police Bel Bahadur Pandey confirmed that the CIB handed its report to the Ministry by completing the assigned task as per the cabinet meeting of 11 February last year. The government had assigned the CIB for probe as the public land plots were embezzled by different individuals.
