KATHMANDU: Minister for Finance, Dr Yubraj Khatiwada, and Chinese Ambassador to Nepal, Hou Yanqi, held a meeting on Wednesday.
During the meeting held at Finance Ministry, they reviewed the under-construction development projects carried out by the Chinese companies and discussed the progress of the projects run with the support of Chinese government as well.
A press release issued by the Finance Ministry read that discussion was held on forwarding second-phase construction of the Kathmandu Ring Road and increasing investment from Chinese financial institutions in Nepal’s infrastructure development.

Meanwhile, Ambassador of the European Union to Nepal, Veronica Cody, paid a courtesy call on Finance Minister Dr Khatiwada on Wednesday itself.
Discussion on EU’s support and bilateral interest was held.
