China pledges additional 2 million doses vaccine to Nepal

N24 Correspondent, KATHMANDU:- Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi has announced an additional 2 million doses of vaccine grant to Nepal against Covid-19.

The announcement was made in a telephone conversation between Foreign Minister Narayan Khadka and Chinese Foreign Minister Wang Yi.

During talks on Tuesday, Chinese Foreign Minister Li Keqiang announced an additional 2 million doses of the vaccine, according to a press release issued by the ministry. He has even invited Foreign Minister Khadka to visit China.

According to the ministry, the two discussed bilateral relations, cooperation in vaccination against COVID-19, coordination in trade and development, and border management.

It is said that the issue of allowing more containers to be brought from Tatopani and Rasuwagadhi checkpoints was also discussed during the talks.
