DADELDHURA: Although the four major political parties have been trying to avoid elections of the constituent assembly with the fear that people will not trust their commitments in this election as they failed to give constitution to the country in four years, a pro-royalist party has expedited the electoral campaign.
Addressing a press conference in Dadeldhura on Thursday morning, Chairperson of Rastriya Prajatantra Party Nepal (RPP-Nepal) Kamal Thapa has claimed that the country is facing serious crisis due to the existing four-party syndicate that is spoiling genuine chances of reaching to a political accord.
He further said that because the very four parties – UCPN-Maoist, Nepali Congress, CPN-UML and Madhesi front – are running the current election government, there is little possibility of Constituent Assembly election taking place even in November this year.
RPP-Nepal Chief Thapa, who for the first time advocated for the party-less government under the leadership of Justice of the Supreme Court has said that even though the Khil Raj Regmi government does conduct the election as per the direction of the four parties. The pro-royalist leader also accused the top leaders of the four parties of plundering the state coffer in the name of democracy.
