OKHALDUNGA: Province-1 Chief Minister Sherdhan Rai has expressed his commitment to immediately provide relief to the fire survivors’ families.
Chief Minister Rai made this commitment while reaching to the house of Okhaldhunga’s Likhu Rural Municipality Chairperson Govidna Poudel. “The Province government is working out to devise relief and rescue efforts to support the fire survivors in sustaining their lives”, CM Rai added. Increasing incidents of fire have caused big loss to the lives and properties, he said.
Though the forest fire has gradually come under control, the houses are still in precarious situation in Okhaldhunga district. CM Rai pledged that the province government would immediately make relief arrangements for fire survivors.
