KATHMANDU: Police have arrested outlawed Netra Bikram Chand-led Nepal Communist Party-close cultural wing’s general secretary Khem Thapaliya.
Thapaliya was arrested from his residence at Putalisadak in the capital today.
According to Metropolitan Police Range Kathmandu Spokesperson and DSP Hobindra Bogati, Thapaliya was arrested from his residence and has been kept at the police office.
Meanwhile, Progressive Writers Association has condemned the incident.
