KATHMANDU: The meeting of the Constitutional Committee (CC) scheduled for today has been postponed. The meeting was expected to forge consensus on the disputed issues of the constitution writing process.
It is said that the meeting was put off as the parties needed additional time for forging consensus on the disputed issues including form of governance, electoral system, state restructuring and judiciary.
President of the Committee Nilamber Acharya said that the meeting was put off as the political leaders were active to forge consensus and additional time was need for the same. The next meeting of the CC is scheduled for Wednesday at 11:00 am. RSS
